Make the Virtual Machine with Vmware Player

 

  1. Open Vmware Player

 

  1. Click “Create a New Virtual Machine”

  1. Select “Linux” and “Ununtu 64bit”

  1. Enter your choosen machine name, we use “Reg Server”

  1. Specify your disk storage settings

  1. Click “Finish”

  1. Select your virtual machine and click “Edit virtual machine settings”

  1. Select the CD drive, make sure that “Connect a power on” is checked

  1. Select “Use ISO image file” and select your ISO file.

  1. Then Click “Ok”  and power on the virtual machine. Then proceed to the instructions for installing ubuntu server.
